Toki no Yu Setsugetsuka – A Timeless Retreat in Hakone

Just a one-minute walk from Gora Station, Toki no Yu Setsugetsuka invites you to experience the charm of Japanese tradition with modern comfort. Nestled in the heart of Hakone, this welcoming and stylish ryokan offers private open-air baths, seasonal cuisine, and thoughtful hospitality – the perfect setting for a relaxing stay in one of Japan’s most scenic hot spring towns.

															Why We Recommend This Ryokan
■Relax in Hakone’s Natural Hot Springs
Take a break from the everyday and unwind in the soothing waters of Hakone’s famous hot springs. Setsugetsuka features spacious indoor and open-air communal baths filled with natural hot spring water.
Each guest room includes a private open-air bath on the balcony.
Please note: the water in the in-room baths is not natural hot spring water, but regular heated bath water.
Even so, it provides a relaxing experience in a serene setting.

										■Enjoy Delicious Seasonal Cuisine
At Setsugetsuka, you can choose from two distinct dinner styles, both crafted with seasonal ingredients and refined technique.
-
“Kachou” serves a Japanese kaiseki course accompanied by a seasonal hot pot, highlighting the tastes of the four seasons.
-
“Fugetsu” offers a luxurious combination of wagyu shabu-shabu and sushi kaiseki, perfect for those who enjoy premium beef and fresh seafood.
Each meal is thoughtfully prepared by skilled chefs who bring out the natural flavors of each ingredient.
Please choose your preferred dining style when making your reservation.

										■Thoughtful Extras
After a relaxing soak in the hot spring and a satisfying dinner, you might find yourself craving a little something before bed. At Setsugetsuka, guests can enjoy a complimentary bowl of “Yonaki Soba” (late-night ramen), served from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. It’s a comforting treat to end your day.

There are also refreshments available for bath time:
-
Cool down after a soak with a refreshing ice pop, available from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
-
In the morning, a small bottle of lactic acid drink is offered from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM to start your day gently.
