Soba Kihinkan

Soba Kihinkan is a soba restaurant housed in Kihinkan, a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan originally built in 1918 as the private villa of Baron Heitaro Fujita. In this elegant Japanese-style building, surrounded by a meticulously maintained garden, guests can enjoy authentic soba and Japanese cuisine in a refined setting filled with the charm of the Taisho era.
From inside the restaurant, diners can admire the garden as it changes with the seasons, creating a truly special and tranquil dining experience. The soba, made with smooth‑textured buckwheat flour from Hokuryu, Hokkaido, is especially popular, along with dishes prepared using local ingredients from the Hakone area.
Located within the Yunessun grounds, the restaurant also offers the unique pleasure of exploring the historic cultural property after the meal. With its atmosphere and quality cuisine, Soba Kihinkan is a popular choice for special occasions and family gatherings.
