HAKONE KOWAKIEN MIKAWAYA RYOKAN

Hakone Kowakien Mikawaya Ryokan, established in 1883, is a historic inn in the Kowakudani area, designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. Nestled on the mountainside of Hakone, it offers guests a chance to experience traditional charm and the changing seasons of Japan. The open-air baths and private onsen, surrounded by nature, all feature free-flowing hot spring water. The clear, gentle waters are said to help relieve stress, neuralgia, and fatigue while leaving the skin smooth. With refined cuisine and comfortable rooms, Mikawaya Ryokan provides both cultural heritage and a tranquil hot spring retreat.
