Step01
Select and Configure Your Ticket
Access the EMot Online Tickets website. Choose your desired area and ticket type, tap Go to purchase procedure, then specify your departing station, start date, and other details. Review the details and agree to the terms. Then tap Next.

Log In or Register
If you already have an account, log in using your registered email address/social media account. If you are a new user, select your country/area and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. A verification code will be sent to your email address if registering with email. If registering with your social media account, follow the platform's intructions.
Step03
Choose Payment Method
Select your preferred payment method from the available options (credit card, PayPay, Alipay+).
Step04
Complete Purchase
Check the purchase details, proceed to payment, and enter your payment information.
Step05
Verify Ticket
After completion, tap Check ticket to confirm your purchased ticket is displayed under Your ticket, and review the "Purchase Completion Notice" email sent either to your registered email address or the email address associated with your registered social media account.

Access My Page and Log In
Access the EMot Online Tickets website or use the link from your "Purchase Completion Notice" email, then log in with the same credentials used for purchase.
Step02
Select Ticket to Activate
From “My Page”, go to “List of Owned Tickets” and activate the ticket you want to use.
Step03
Confirm Activation
Tap the Activate this ticket button to proceed.
Step04
Display Ticket
An ticket screen and QR Code will be displayed on your device.
Step05
Use Ticket
Scan QR code to a reader or show the ticket screen to the staff for validation. Please note that screenshots cannot be used.
Important Notice for Digital Ticket Users
One Smartphone per Person Required
Each person must have their own smartphone to use a digital ticket. You cannot use multiple tickets of the same type on a single device. Please present and scan the QR code on each individual smartphone at the gates.
Available on Smartphone Only
Tickets can only be purchased and displayed on smartphones. Please note that PCs and tablets cannot be used.
Network Environment Notice
Screenshots cannot be used to display the ticket. An internet connection is required to present your ticket.
Other ways to purchase
Purchase at the Sightseeing Service Center
Visit the blue and white Odakyu Sightseeing Service Center at Shinjuku, Odawara, or Hakone-Yumoto. Let the staff know which pass and travel dates you’d like, and request Romancecar seats if needed. You can pay with a credit card, e-wallet, or cash. You’ll receive a paper pass, coupons, and helpful route guidance—ideal for groups or first-time visitors.
How to Buy Tickets from a Ticket Vending Machine
All Odakyu Line stations are equipped with ticket vending machines like the one shown in the photo. You can purchase your ticket using the touchscreen panel.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Tap the English button at the top right of the screen.
- Select the type of ticket you want to buy:
If you purchase a Discount Pass, please select Freepass.- Odakyu Line Ticket

Notes:
- The fare depends on the distance you travel.
For the Discount Pass, the fare varies depending on the departure station. - Tickets are valid only on the day of purchase.
- Children aged 6 to 11 are eligible for child fares.
