Usage Method

Please tap “Use” in “Round Trip Ticket (the way there) or (the way back) for the “(Contract / Travel) Round Trip Ticket” in the list of tickets held to start using.
A QR code will be displayed, so please use this by holding it over the QR reader at the manned ticket gates of each station on the Odakyu Line as well as Hakone-Yumoto Station on the Hakone Tozan Line.

Usage Precautions

• ・Stopovers are not permitted.
• ・If you ride past your destination, please pay the fare separately at the arrival station.
• ・A refund of the Ticket only is not available. If canceling a travel product, you may be charged a cancellation fee depending on the timing of the cancellation request. Please refer to My Page on Hakone Trip Website  for more details.
• ・The use of the Ticket, in addition to the above, is subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Use for Digital Pass prescribed by Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd.
• ・Please click here (Link*) for QR code ticket gates information.
• ・In the event that the Odakyu Line is suspended and you use another form of transportation, please make your own arrangements for such other form of transportation. To receive a refund for any unused portion of the Ticket, please follow the procedures via the refund form that can be found at Hakone Trip Website after your trip. Please note that as the Ticket offers special tour pricing, the amount of the refund will be different from the sales amount at a station.

2. Sale Location and Sale Method

It is sold through Hakone Trip Website This is a travel product that is sold in a set with an accommodation product, etc. This product requires all users to possess a smartphone and use the “EMot Online Ticket” website provided by Odakyu Electric Railway.

3. Date of Sale

In accordance with the travel product sale date.
*EMot online tickets for which a coupon code has been used may be exchanged for a Digital Hakone Freepass  (with Odakyu ticket) (Contract / Travel) from one month prior to the date of use.

4. Period of Validity

Two days and three days (may be used from the trip departure date)

5. Passenger Fares

Included in the price of the travel product.

6. Validity

In addition to the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Use for Digital Pass prescribed by Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd., the ticket is limited to one round trip between the boarding station and Odawara Station, with no restrictions on the route or the number of rides within the validity period for travel within the Hakone area beyond Odawara Station. However, the ticket shall lose effect at the final station of your trip upon the performance of the Freepass  exit (end) operation.

7. Alighting from Trains En Route

No restrictions.

8. Change of Traveling Section

1. If requested on the outward journey
   Not handled.
2. If requested on the return journey
   A separate normal passenger fare will be collected for the changed section.

9. Handling of Freepass

1. In the event of a passenger holding a Digital Hakone Freepass  departing from Shinjuku making a request to use the Odakyu Highway Bus for a trip between Shinjuku Station and Tomei Gotemba or between Shinjuku Station and Gotemba Premium Outlets (including Hotel Clad), a Freepass (hereinafter referred to as “FP Ticket”) will be issued for boarding.
2. Sale Locations
   Hakone Tozan Bus Togendai Information Center / Sengoku Information Center, Odakyu Highway Bus Gotemba Office, Mt. Fuji Gotemba /Hakone Tourist Information Center, Izu Hakone Bus Hakone Park Information Center, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Shinjuku Highway Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku)
   However, requests at boarding will be handled by the crew.

   Shinjuku Station - Tomei Gotemba (one way)
   Adult 1,000 yen Child 500 yen

10. Refunds

1. Before the start of the trip
   A refund of only the Digital Hakone Freepass (Contract / Travel) is not available. In the event of canceling a travel product, a cancellation fee may be charged depending on the timing of the cancellation. Please refer to My Page on Hakone Trip Website for more details.
2. After the start of the trip
   A refund of only the Digital Hakone Freepass (Contract / Travel) is not available, with the exception of the situations set forth in i) and ii) below. Also, in the case where the Digital Hakone Freepass (Contract / Travel) has not been used, a refund will not be available, regardless of whether or not the coupon code has been exchanged.
   i) In the event of a request having been made due to suspension of services in conjunction with inclement weather, etc., a fee-free refund shall only be provided if the applicable transportation facilities have not been used during the validity period. The refund amounts are shown in the table below.

• ii) If some sections of the ropeway have been suspended due to malfunction, a refund will be provided in accordance with the table below, regardless of the suspended section.

11. Location for Refunds

1. Before the start of the trip
   A refund of only the Digital Hakone Freepass (Contract / Travel) is not available. Cancellation of travel products can be made online up until 23:59 on the day before departure. (The processes must be completed by 23:59.)
2. After the start of the trip
   A refund of only the Digital Hakone Freepass  (Contract / Travel) is not available. To cancel a travel product and for a partial refund due to local inclement weather, ropeway malfunctions, etc., please follow the procedures from the refund form in Hakone Trip Website .

12. Others

1. Some facilities offer a discount if you show your Digital Hakone Freepass . Please contact the facility concerned for information on discounts. Facilities that offer a discount are subject to change.
2. Other issues regarding the use of the ticket will be subject to the provisions of the Passenger Operation Regulations as well as the EMot Terms of Service and the General Terms and Conditions of Use for Digital Pass prescribed by Odakyu Electric Railway.
